Default climate seats

Has anyone used their "air conditioned" seats yet?? I have very very if any noticeable flow of cold air from mine. Only other vehicle I have to compare is the Escalade--which had much more air flow out of the seats.

What are others experience?

Mine are very weak, I even had the dealer check them to be sure they were working (they were). Next to useless here in Houston in the summer. I am very disappointed. My understanding is that the cooling system is self contained in the seat, not part of the powerful AC system. Too bad.

the LX doesnt blow as hard as my GS, you can barely notice on the LX
I do take the LX to the gym though and when you're sweaty (I know, probably too much info) you can really notice !!!!

I think it is just a couple of fans that weakly suck or blow air thru the preforated leather. Does not work near as good as the seat heaters. I was hoping they would hook some real ac up to the seats.

Three people, in addition to myself, have sat in them....they actually could not tell any difference worth noting.
Ill be taking it to lexus at the 1000mi check and have them look at it. That sort of climate seat is NOT worth any money at all.

I do not think that Lexus has advertised it to be any more than what it is.

it does, just much more light than any other car I've been in.
I realized it again after the gym this morning. After sweating in the gym, you can feel it and it feels cold!!!! Fells like I'm sitting on ice !!!
Sorry if too much info, all in the name of research...right??

The whole point is if you want to chill your buns, you need to crank down the ac so that the air pulled thru the seat is cold. There is no doubt that there is a fan pulling air thru the seat, not alot but some.

I do admit the heater works much better!
