I have had my air conditioned seats on constantly for the last few days. This was truly a waste of money to purchase this option. There is virtually no cooling!! Makes some noise though.

Once you get out of the car, where you are sitting is just as warm as if there was no cooling. The only cool part of the seat is where you are not sitting...and there is zilch for any air flow.

Just wondering if this will become more of an issue as weather gets warmer. The Escalade is the only other air cond seats i have ever tried...and those work well!! You FEEL the air blowing out of them!

 

yeah, these seats blow (or suck...) whatever.

I wonder if Lexus will have a fix for this.

Does anyone know if they work of a separate fan or if it's part of the cent system?
I can hear the fan sometimes on my GS seats, but I can feel a lot more air out of the GS.

 

Mine are useless as well, I even had Lexus service check them to see if they were working. Yep. My service rep told me that it is a system contained within the seat and there is no way to soup it up.

 

The system only pulls air thru the seats, ambient air and not forced conditioned air directly from the ac condensor. I find the amount of air volume is not great and overall the system does not work well. The heater works very well.

Not a huge problem for me.

 

I feel the seats are the biggest "letdown" of the 570 and I still dont think it's that big of a deal (meaning I am thrilled with the car!!)
If the a/c system was below par it would be more of an issue but the a/c system more than makes up for it.

 

I agree they are as useless as ever! I mean the seats in an ES350 cool better for gosh sakes I mean this is supppose to be the flagship SUV

 

I would suspect it might be addressed in later models. The 570 has SO many ac vents, including some under the drivers seat aiming at the 2nd row, it would not be hard to redirect to the drivers butt!

 

it is the one complaint I have about the car. The rest of the vents work well so its not so important. My GS works way better than the LX.
We went to NASCAR over the weekend and after the car sitting in the sun, it cooled down in about no time at all !!!!
AWESOME ventilation system !!!!
