Unhappy Enform alerts

Hello All,
Ever since I upgraded the Apple Carplay, 5 mins in to the car ride, an alert is coming in the nav system that enform app needs to be running to use features.
I see that even when the app is running its still giving that error.
Anyone else seeing an alert like that ?
Its so annoying :/)

The native Lexus Navigation knows a lot, your phone knows a lot more.
Lexus App Suite 2.0 running in your phone enhances the Lexus Nav,
you may have seen a banner "route optimized by the cloud"? That is
your phone adding to the route guidance.

The Apple CarPlay connection is an all or nothing proposition. When you
plug in and enable CP for music and messages but bring up the native
Lexus Nav, it can not connect to LAS and you get the message. Either
use a phone Nav such as Waze or pull the plug and use LAS.

Thank you! my problem is not about navigation. Apologies for not stating my problem correctly.
My issue is when I get in the car and start driving, (not connecting to the phone via USB yet)... in about 5 mins car will give me a message that the app need to be running on the phone. this message shows up on the multimedia display screen. hopefully that explains what I am seeing.
any thoughts , suggestions ?

Mcomer: Are you sure that Enform 2.0 provides updates back to the navigation unit? I've seen that message without Enform being connected. I don't even use Enform as it's mostly useless in its current iteration. I dont use any of it's apps.

You are both seeing the message because the App Suite is not running on the phone.
When running on a phone paired to the car it cooperates with the Nav. nsaldahh, I also
do not use the Slacker or other media stuff, just the Nav.

the challenge/ annoyance is that anytime I get in to the car, I have to restart the inform app on the phone otherwise it gives this alert. even if the app was running already, it won't recognize it, I have to restart the app. its stupid silly....
either there has to be a way to have that automatically connect , without me saying connect it every time, or , it should not give that warning if I am not using the inform.

Check the app permissions on your phone. You shouldn't have to manually connect it every time. Make sure you have cellular data turned on for the app.

Thumbs up Enform Alerts

I had the same problem this past week after Car Play put on and Lexus+Alexa. Was fine for a few weeks. Had to keep disconnecting and reconnecting. Lexus Tech not helpful. Lexus Associate at my dealership in NJ recommended doing a Hard re-set on my iPhone as Bluetooth can be off set by the updates from Apple. I did a soft reset as I could not figure the hard reset on my 8+ IPhone. I know how to do that too now. Turning off phone solved the problem. Will see what long term effect has. Then will do a hard reset. Software updates can cause this issue. Try it, better than doing a manual re start of app. For two days, the Enform would go off and message stated "Connect Enform to your phone, but phone Bluetooth was working as well as app was running. So same issue. Let me know.
