Default LS460 smart access card key

Hi, I know a thread has been made about this before but I just need a bit of guidance.

Does anyone know how I can purchase and program a smart card key for my LS460? I live in Australia and the FCC ID of my existing fob key is: HYQ14AAB. I have heard that buying an . . . ABB card key would work as well but IDK.

Any help is appreciated

It might but usually you have to get exactly the same part number.

I purchased one from ebay that was suppose to work. Took it to lexus for programing and was told that the wallet card does not work on 2010 - even though it shows it in the owners manual. Had to return it.

That sucks.
I know its kind of a gimmick but I think its pretty convenient as it can probably fit in my iPhone MagSafe Wallet case and its kinda cool 😎

Hmmm... my 2010 LS 600h L came with a wallet card that worked fine.

I have attached the part number after you buy it use techstream or locksmith to program it, also make sure to get new batteries size CR2412 for it .

OMG thank you very much. I'm about to order the card key but both of the part numbers you kindly showed have the FCC ID: HYQ14ABB. My fob key has the FCC ID: HYQ14AAB. Would it still work?

ALK I'm not having this issue but I need to speak up anyway, about your detailed comment, and the fine members of this site in general. Your comment clearly showed how you went out of your way to help, and however great or small the effort it took you, it is just another example of the many ways the members of Club Lexus routinely go out of their way to assist other owners.
The collective knowledge and hard-earned experience that so many members of C.L. so generously share, with complete strangers, every day (all for free) has never failed to impress me. This site is exactly the kind of on-line community I want to be a part of.
