Default Key Fob Suggestion for LS460

I am way to cheap to spend about $400 for a wallet key. That being said, I tried to find a place to put the regular key fob that is easy to find and can stay in the car most of the time but doesn't hog up my cup holders (where I had stored it).

I applied velcro (soft side applied to the key, scratchy side to the dash) to the key and "stick" it to the outside of the change drawer to the left of the steering wheel. It's out of the way so it isn't noticed as crapping up the interior (although you folks who hate my "pimped out" sheepskin might think I already crapped it up ) and easy to grab and reapply as needed. You might wanna try it.

Hmm, how does that keep from your car from getting into the wrong hands if someone were to walk into your garage and drive off?

It doesn't. But I leave the key in the car ANYWAY but lock and security system my entire house including garage. Lots of people do it this way.

Just in case your solution doesn't work long term I wanted to make sure you knew about the $212 group for the wallet key?

You are a brave man. I always take the keys inside the house with me.

I assume I have to get the key programmed by my own dealer? At $212 it IS tempting.

My pimp image of you is now shattered. Yea it is a lot for a wallet key but I thought you would be have onw your of your hoes locked in the car to hold it.
