Well guess the P7 has a new model. More cost than the past ones. I am due to replace mine sometime this year.

I would wait for more reviews and choose the P7 Plus II if you can get them (you'll be able to for a good while).

I would not assume the "3" is as good as the other two just because its a P7 Plus. The tire is completely redesigned. The reviews look promising that it is, but it may not be. For instance the Michelin Primacy Tour is not as good a tire as the old Primacy MXM4 it replaced. I bought a set and returned it for the MXM4.

 

Ordered a set of Michelin 255/45r19 pilot sport 4 acoustic tires. The speedo on my ls460 is 2.5% low. Went to 255 versus 245’s as the difference in turns per mile is 2.5 lower. Corrects the speedo. The Michelins as an option have glued in foam pads inside plus a built in foam insert in the cases.

Obviously customers have complained about the road noise levels.

My 235/50r18 at 48,000 miles became noisy from the low tread block height.

I had sourced a set of ls460 19” oem rims in had straightened and replated and put away.

So the rebuilt rims will be shod with acoustic 255/45r19 Michelin pilot spot 4 acoustic tires. No cheap costco and Michelin has a sale through 1/30 and the out the door price was over $1400.

yea so? Car is worth having the best new tech tires on it in my experience.

How much is a dead quiet car worth? Maybe not that much to most here. But the results should be worth it.

we will see. $1400 worth of replated rimns plus $1400 worth of tires probably would separate the men from the boys but versus $100k for a new ls500 it seems cheap to me.

also spent $2700 fixing most but not all dents and dings on the exterior.

car is too nice not to do it right IMO

At my local Discount Tire the Plus II are on backorder. The Plus 3 is a P7 but not in the Cinturato family. The thread design is just slightly different. One review on Tire Rack was all good. The tire list for $214 where a Plus 2 is still around $180.

 

The “Cinturato” name is just being phased out. The 3 is the replacement for the previous tire.

 

Interesting as I originally went to order 245/45r19 pilot sport 4’s. Michelin locally only had 1 available. Went home and then did my due diligence on the increased diameter that had fixed my sc430’s speedo error and then saw the acoustic variation. And the size being in stock locally.
