This is the latest TireRacl test of the P7 II tire, and you can see when compared in this case to the Michelin Cross Climate II there is a considerable difference in ride and noise:
There is no direct comparison between the Primacy Tour A/S and the P7 Plus II but this compares the Tour A/S to the Bridgestone Quiet Track, which were beaten by the Pirellis so you can extrapolate:
Those numbers are impressive. I may decide to go with them after all. If they only last 30K miles, that's OK. They way I drive that's over three years. However, I don't see the Primacy MXV4 on that list. That's my go-to on my LS430, and probably the 460 as well. So I would love to see if the Pirelli can beat that. Because the price is way better on the Pirelli.
Hey Steve I took your advise. I ordered the Pirelli P7+2. I had Uniroyals that came with the car. They were sure noisy. I can't wait to install the Pirelli's.
They don't make the Primacy MXV4 anymore, but I also really liked those. The Pirellis are very similar.
Typical! Well then, I can't wait until it's time for new shoes. So far the brand new tires (I'll post the brand tomorrow if I can) are quiet and smooth, but we will see. I haven't been able to take pictures because the weather sucks, but as soon as I can I will post some photos.
