I'm on my second set of the P7's and I'll get another set when these wear out. I love these tires. They are really quiet and they perform very well. Get a set for your car and you'll be glad you did.

So far I've been pleasantly surprised twice with good tires that have plenty of life left, but most of the time, I get new shoes right away.

And I also have about $3K budgeted for audio upgrades at the end of 2022. This one doesn't have the ML (which all of my 430s had) and I'll see if I can live with the stock stereo before I do anything. I like good audio, but at 54 years old my head banging days are mostly behind me.
And, our hearing range has declined too. We lose the ability to hear high frequencies, turn up the treble!

Quite good in the snow, even with my 2017 which was RWD

This is great news as the price of this tire is way less than the Michelin or Conti. I may just try them out. Does anyone have real world experience with the Pirelli vs the more expensive "quiet" tires? Keeping in mind that I DO NOT CARE about performance other than quiet and comfort. If I want a "responsive" tire, I will buy a sports car that demands that.

Oh yeah, I've had a bunch of different tires. The Pirellis would be my choice

pirellis are owned by a company in china,
I prefer the michelins for the LS, Michelin will last longer
handle better
ride 90% as good as the Pirellis
and u won't have any quality control issues like 1/10 of buyers have with Pirelli tires
happy new year all

I did not know they were chinese tires. That's a dealbreaker.

The P7 Cinturato AS Plus are not made in China, they’re made in Mexico. The Michelins are made in Thailand… I’ve had the comparable Michelins and the Pirellis and the Pirellis are just better tires.

Steve looks like Made in Mexico but more information about parent company for those who choose Pirelli. there is no substitute for michelins

Pirelli. Pirelli is an Italy-based tire manufacturer that is a subsidiary of ChemChina – a Chinese enterprise. They manufacture passenger, used SUV tires, light-truck, classic car, prestige car, and racing tires. When the company was self-standing, the New York stock exchange included it in 1929

I've owned these Pirellis and many sets of Michelins, including the direct competitors to these tires from Michelin I would never choose the Michelins. So, yeah there are substitutes for Michelins lol. I don't care where something is made, what I want is the best tire. Unless you have had these tires and the direct competition and compared them back to back like I have...

Michelin makes some good tires, but the brand as a whole is really overrated.

These aren't the tires we're talking about, these are the P7 summer tire.

Pirellis are good but not michelins

pirellis still has quality control issues with its tires, and the rain performance is not up to michelins, then you add in longevity of the michelins lasting longer and you have all the answers you need.
plus there is a affiliation outside the us as outlined
have fun

Have you owned the tires being discussed and compared them back to back? If not then everything you are saying is just opinions not based on any practical experience. You don't like Pirellis, got it...but don't tell me my experience is wrong when I have had all the tires we're discussing on this car and you havent...hence you have no experience on the subject.

As for affiliations outside the US, Michelin is not a US company...its a French company...and you're driving a Japanese Lexus...

yes I had pirellis years ago and couldn't balance them
im stating fact
the pirellis you are a fan boy of, and an enthusiast of the p7's is a good tire.
its not a Michelin never will.
its a good tire, but Michelin makes the best tires and has been for last twenty years.
like you always say the pirellis will ride softer, but hence will not last as long as michelins, nor handle as well, nor be as good in bad weather.
the banter is cute, you have been preaching the pirellis for years, I always respect your opinion, but its just opinion
