Wireless receiver: Smart door control module location

Wireless receiver: Smart door control module location

Where is the wireless smart door control receiver located exactly? I have a 2007 LS460 base.

Techinfo shows I have to remove the whole trunk and part of the rear cooler just to get to this part. I want to see if there is an easier way to get access to this part

Have not replaced this myself. but I don't think there's any around not having to remove any covers. From the 2007 repair manual:
