Default A few things need fixed

A few months ago I purchased a 2010 from the company I work at. The car belonged to our late owner who passed away 2.5 years ago. I got a screaming deal on the car and it has been great. But there are 3 things I want to see about fixing. I have attached some pictures to show the problems.

1. On the heated/cooled switch for the passenger seat the off position is not correct. The off position is slightly in the heat direction. The drivers side is perfect. Any easy fix for this?
2. On the passenger door memory seat buttons only the 2nd and 3rd position light up when the lights are on. It appears there are 2 bulbs behind it one for the set/1 buttons and one for the 2/3 buttons. Does the whole switch have to be replaced or are there bulbs to replace. Lexus wants an insane amount of money to replace the switch.
3. The bezel around the nav screen/climate controls has flaked off in a few spots. Can just the bezel be replaced? Lexus said the entire unit would have to be replaced to fix it as they claim its 1 piece.

Thanks.

buy used parts in good condition and swap it yourself... all the parts you mentioned so far can be done very easily on your own with a dooq quality set of plastic trim tools, some painters tape if you are super paranoid like me. problem solved.

Thanks. I don't have a problem doing it myself.

I do need help in know if these things have to be replaced completely or not. Like the seat switch, does that actually need to be replaced or just adjusted. And the bezel, does the whole unit have to be replaced like Lexus claims or not? And I hate trying to find part #'s. The drawings and listings are usually a pain to decipher. So if anyone knows of part #'s I would really appreciate it.

that piece where the switch is on can be removed, there is no way that it got the way it is through normal use so maybe someone removed it and did not put it back properly... as for bezel. you know that the dealer only tells you how things are sold, so according to lexus parts website they do not sell the bezel separately, but of course it is not one whole piece, so you can try finding it online as a whole and re-sell the parts you do not use.

ive checked and the screen bezel is not sold seperately at least not from lexus/toyota. so you gotta find your own parts online.

Thank you for the info on the bezel. That seems to be the hardest thing to find out. I found the memory seat switch for $50 so I ordered that. Hopefully that fixes the light issue. I will take apart the center console and see about the switch for the cooled/heated seats. Hopefully it just needs adjusted. Thanks again.

there was a thread here the other day about removing and changing something in the shifter, basically you just need to follow that guide.

You can pull the little **** right off the switch, I assume it is the same for the pre-2013. Check to see if the plastic **** is broken inside or you can put it on in the right position.

this thread seems to address your bezel issue a little. I see Lexus dealers sell the part ranging from around 250 for the 2009 and older and 350-500 for the 2010. Good luck!

id try to touch up the bezel with matching paint, instead of ordering/finding a new one and replacing... If the paint matches, youd save time, if not, wont cost much to try!

Thanks. Yes, I can pull the **** off but the metal peg doesn't line up. If I move it to the middle it is in the cooling side.

I wonder if you can loosen that bolt and twist the **** to the correct position and then re-tighten it.
