I have ac 2013 LS460 with the ML stereo, It sounds good , But I don't think as good as the Bose systems, I rented a caddilac with the Bose, Sounded incredible, What do you guys think, Thanks Dan.

 

I think your opinion is shared with most of the regulars here.

 

ML system was detuned in 2010+ most likely to preserve the amp from over heating and failing. No complaints from me from the ML in my 2008

 

The Bose system in my wife's 2002 Acura TL-S sounds a little better than the ML in my '10 LS. Better clarity and bass.

The ML system sounds better than the stock Pioneer system in the '96 LS400. But I do wonder if the Nakamichi system would have sounded better.

But I am old enough now that music isn't important to me anymore and I like to drive around in silence.

 

My 2007 LS460 ML system sounded better than any OEM systems that I've ever heard. However, my 2014 LS460 ML system isn't in the same league. Pity.

 

I have a 2007 L with a ML system, I actually think it sounds pretty awesome for most types of music, I use it a lot every day for almost 2 hours.. Are you saying the 13+ ML is not as good sounding ?

That would be a big disappointment when moving up to my next model

 

The ML system in my 13 FSport LS cannot touch the ML in my 07 GS350 or our 18 GS350 FSport. Kind of disappointing but adding a subwoofer helped alot

 

My 2011 had the ML and I loved it, as far as stock systems go, but the bass was a little lacking. My 2013 has the premium system and as soon as I pull the trigger I'm replacing everything with Morel speakers and probably a JL 8 channel amp.

 

When you remove the system, send me a price and I'll get it from you.

 

13+ LS ML system sounds decent but not as good as earlier ones, plus the center channel speaker is way too bright. not sure why they did that on them. 13 clear up to 17 were like that. still better then the pioneer one though.

 

I think they castrated the bass on the 2013+ cars so they wouldn't have so many issues with the ML amp and subwoofer.

 

How, why, and when should someone use the DSP?
