I have a 2014 Lexus IS 250 and am trying to connect to the "Wireless Code Registration" utility to reprogram my FOBs to open the keyless entry. I've reviewed multiple posts and this option is supposed to be available under "Main" / "Utility" but I am not able to see "Wireless Code Registration" or "Wireless Code Erasure" as in the image below. I can successfully see the Customization, Initialization and Diagnosis Mode screens but I'm wondering why the other two options don't exist.

At first I thought it was this bug in Techstream version 18 but I have also tried TS V17, V16 and all the way back to Techstream V12.20.024 but none of them are showing this option for my Lexus IS250 ECU. I've tried it with the driver door open and closed, doesn't make a difference.

Anybody know if there is a specific sequence that needs to be run in order to make this option available?

 

You are better off asking in the IS forum. I would guess, your car just does not have such option.
