Back in a LS
I’ve always found the CL forum very informative and helpful.

To make you feel better, thats $5,600 in Lexus dollars. That job can be done with aftermarket arms at an independent for $1,500.

Question for y'all...insurance rates. What are you seeing for full coverage, no accidents, good credit (I'm 39)? I traded my 2007 LX470 for the LS, and the rates went up 50%+. Seem BS to me, but I could be wrong...It's the car of a doctor, not 19 year old STI driver... I use a broker, and I was giving them grief for the cost.Side note: My credit union also offered me a platinum service contract through CUNA for $1,3XX for 4/48K. Not bad, though they are persnickety about the air suspension exclusions (bags, "shocks" -- I'm hoping "CYLINDER ASSEMBLY, PNEUMATIC, FRONT RIGHT WITH SHOCK ABSORBER" gets me a pass
. Still, for $1,3XX it felt like a good little insurance policy to keep me from dealing with the control arm issues et al. TIA for the insurance question answers.

I am not one to purchase an extended warranty but I also do my own maintenance.
Good day!
