What does this (highlighted) button do?
I at first thought it was related to the defrosters but didn’t see it illuminate the buttons on center dash when pressed. The lady said it may be something related to the headlamp washers? Not sure though.
I believe that is what it is. If I remember right I pushed it once and it sprayed windshield washer fluid all over the front of the car. Have never pushed it again.
Its heated wiper blades. well its a grid on the windshield that heats where the wiper blades are parked to help in freezing temps.
Yes! It's only available on vehicles equipped with the Cold Weather Package. I have it on my LS 460 and my wife's RX 350. Wish it was a button on the dash instead of an on-screen menu item or an option where it would come on when you turn on the defroster.

This button is a rarely used feature unless one often parks the vehicle in the open in heavy snows. Probably not the case, considering that many of us drive the car sparingly in the winter . The defroster gets used more often when the car fogs up in the winter/spring. But I agree, it's a bit inconvenient to turn on requiring three steps instead of one. Here's the page from the owner's manual for the OP's benefit.
Having difficulty reading sign language? How about owner's manual? B4 asking how about trying it yourself? Trying and learning is best teacher, LOL!
At 12AM, I think the last thing on my mind is going outside to my car to search that up (considering I was parked a few blocks away due to visiting and had to deal with parking constraints), instead I chose to ask here on the forum where educated and fools share their opinions, and now we have yours .

be on alert everyone, if you ask a question that can be answered by not asking on this forum prepare for an arrogant reply and a childish "LOL"
