Question Windshield Wiper Problems....HELP

Hello CL,

1st off please forgive me if this is already posted...but I searched and couldn't find any related posts.

I took my car to "Safelite" to have the windshield replaced, from a broken windshield. After the job was completed, I tested my wipers to make sure that they worked. Well...the wipers didn't work! They only work on high and nothing else. I can't even press the button to clean the windshield. The washer fluid comes out, but the wipers do not come on. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Also, the wipers are loose...meaning usually I could move them up and down in snow/ice mode, but now don't lock in position.

Can someone please assist me if you have any experience with this issue.

Thank you,

are they the at home type service vans? if so did anyone keep a watch while he was working on the car? only thing i can think of is the guy didnt know there is a "snow/normal" mode and maybe removed the arms physically to get to the windshield and did not reinstall it properly?

Check to see that the nuts that hold on the arms are at 16 ft lbs.
