Default How many miles before your Alternator failed?

Juat curious how many miles people have been getting before having to replace their alternators. I’ve seen one how to thread already.

I know the common fail items like water pumps, control arms, batteries, starters, etc have already been discussed many times before.

How many miles did your car hit before you had to replace yours?

Thanks

I have 202,000 kms on my 08 and have never replaced the alternator or starter. I can only recall two or three posts about starters being replaced and maybe one of an alternator. Just not very common at all.

My starter crapped out at 89K on my 08 before I had to replace it.

My LS is less than 50k miles, not sure when that alternator would need a replacement.

However, my ES (299k) and GX (158k) miles and are still with original alternator

I haven't seen too many alternator failures around here, personally I'm at 168,000 miles and mine is original (probably just jinxed myself).
