I can appreciate your viewpoint on our forum, but I will put my contributions and help I've given members of this and other forums I post on up against anybody's, and I believe that on CL I have more "thanks" for help I've given others than any other member, at least any other member I've ever seen.
When you post in a public forum, you need to be prepared for people to respond in ways you may not like. I never posted anything even remotely hinting at an attitude or a derogatory statement about you, I simply agreed with a statement that its unnecessary and silly to disable features on a car like this out of fear that they may brake instead of just enjoying the car that you bought. I have a right to voice that opinion, as did the poster who posted it and I will do so along with any other respectful opinion I choose to voice.
Ask all you want, and your question was answered...but you need to also be prepared for others to post opinions that you may not appreciate. My suggestion would be to simply ignore them or take their opinions gracefully.
