Parking Brake not available

Did a search but couldnt find what Im looking for. There is a message on the dash saying Parking brake not available have vehicle checked by dealer. Anybody know a fix for this?

If this just came up out of nowhere, chances are your battery may be the culprit. It's happened to others on here. Even if it isn't the battery, that's arguably the best place to start.
