Has anyone tried this unit/vendor? It's the only one I find that is supposedly compatible with Windows 10 but more expensive.

$48 ?! i would keep searching.
i bought mine from ebay last year for about $18. since i have the software, all i need is the cable.
the auction came with a software CD, surprisingly.

Sometimes the mini vci cable is junk. I use a BMW CANBUS cable with no issue.

There are many for under $20. The problem is finding one at that price for Windows 10.

Mine was sub-$20, and I have it running on Win 10 (home, unfortunately) no problem. That's on a 64-bit machine, too.
