Default Third Time A Charm...

I have visited the Club Lexus site for several years but never did a post. I finally will post after getting my 2013 LS 460 very recently. Previously I owned a 2001 GS 400, then a 2008 ES 350. I am extremely happy with this purchase. Although I am the 3rd owner of the vehicle, the 2nd owner only had it for 4 months and put some money into the car's aesthetics. The original owner turned the car in after his 36 month lease was up. The car has 22.5K miles on it now.

I enjoy reading all the wonderful posts and I'm sure I will be asking a few from you "experts". This is a LS Base model so I am wanting to add an amplifier and bass to the sound system, change out the wheels, and maybe do a body kit. Thanks for this forum! I'm attaching a few pics of the car.

Where can I find all the specs on my car? Items like Suspension, AWD or RWD, etc,?

Does it have the ML system? If so, I wouldn't mess with it.

Gratz on the car. Looks like the wheels have been changed. Enjoy.

Thanks! Yes they came with those aftermarket wheels, Ace Alloys. They are nice but want something with more chrome.

Unfortunately it does not. If it did, you're' right, I wouldn't mess with it.

Welcome to the 460 forum! Beautiful car. The wheels are awesome as is, but more chrome would be nicer. I would be wary of 22s though. I am sure you have read of issues that others have experienced. There is very little tire, and you end up with dinged and bent rims.

I bet you know of Dr.Jekyll on CL. He's in Hawaii too, maybe you guys are on the same island. It will be nice to see two 2013+ black LS460s side-by-side

i think they look great! I've got 22's and have a custom set of 20's on order. My 22's will be for sale shortly. Tired of worrying about every pot hole.

WOW! I know there's a ton of info on 22s but didnt realize it was like THAT. 2 comments already cautioning me. Perhaps I will stick with 20s. I do want more chrome though. Thanks for the feedback. Roads out here are TERRIBLE. which would make things worse!

Some Lexus center caps may help those wheels in the interim (see your inbox). Welcome to CL and congrats on the new LS!
