A/F Sensor Replacement 2K ???
2007 LS 460L VSC light and check engine light are on...took to Lexus dealer...says both A/F sensors need replacement....quoted almost 2k!!!
Questions I have:
-Is that price excessive?
-If not, what are other repair options?
-What does the A/F sensor do and how critical is it to the function of the car?

Two O2 sensor for a couple grand? No that's very reasonable. Hey, I have a microwave oven for sale if anyone's interested...its four million dollars, but I'm open to reasonable offers.
An independent shop could probably do this job for $400 bucks, tops.
