They want it under and to the right of the rearview mirror. It wouldn't work there on my LS 400. Set off alarms at the toll plaza. Had to put in the lower left corner. It looked kinda cluttered there with the inspection and registration stickers.

Put it just to the right of the mirror right under it where the black part stops. Works perfectly.

Placed it behind the mirror at the top of the windshield in the black portion, drivers side. Works fine.

I can confirm specifically for the TxTag that at the top of the windshield, either left or right of the rearview mirror, works fine.

I have mine at the top, to the right of the mirror, so I can't see it from the driving position.

I have the license plate one for my EzTag

How thick are those?

Kinda wishing that I had looked at one at the EZ Tag store.

not to bad, please excuse the rusty screws & bug guts... been taking lots of trips to Austin.

I live in California so mine stays in the glove box or at home. if it doesn't read they just take a picture of your plates and bill your account.
