The drive is tiring as it is, and if I had to do it in a Corolla (which is a great car to zip around in) it would only make it worse.
I can respect that standpoint. No plugs for Corollas here as I think there could be a better commuter car, but I think they are better than you suspect. I'm kind of like a hybrid of a football player / trucker / Shrek all in one. Thrown in some Neanderthal too ... gotta be honest. And I find my Corolla very comfortable. The new ones are even better. Mine has bad wind noise, but that's all. I did ride in a automatic same year as mine and it felt so puny and sounded kind of like a turd.
It's funny because its definitely not a "make or break" feature, but very "cool" None the less.
The last time I was at Lexus, while awaiting the valet to pull up my car after the recall service was done, I wandered over and took a look at a 2015 GX, and to my surprise, two things:
Perhaps I'm just that out of the car loop, but I didn't realize they wanted nearly 100k for that thing!
2nd: I was surprised that the flagship suv didn't have that feature. Perhaps it's not neccessaey on an suv, but I was still a bit surprised by that fact.
Another thing, per Tee's advice, I put a movie into the player and listened to it on the Levinson...I was nearly shocked at how the system transformed it's ability to produce sound at a home theater quality.
Quite impressive.
Its not the GX that costs nearly 100K, its the LX570, which cost 92K. The GX460 starts at 50K and runs up to 65K.

Problem is I spend a lot of time on the expressway doing ~80mph. When I had a new ES350 loaner I could already tell a huge difference in wind noise between that and my LS. So dealing with that every single day in a car with even less sound proofing would be an even bigger nuisance.
