The OEM remote start should not void any warranty. You should check with your Lexus dealer, but they will be very pricey. But best to check before going with an independent shop unless they specialize in remote starts. Bestbuy and other places will sell and install aftermarket products. There are plenty of good ones (search the threads; Shibumi1 is especially knowledgeable), and they will also cost at least $200 if not more.

My question more specifically is my wiring diagram said that on L11 plus the can high and can low wire should be red and green. My wires don't seem to be that color coming out of that pin.
cam someone Tell me if the wire colors coming out of those pins

What type of range do you get if it's only like 25 feet away, any way to boost it ?
My LS430 that I have had for almost 13 years had remote start from DAY ONE....it's one of those "CANT LIVE WITHOUT" things..

About a 100 ft or so, should be fine in most cases, I guess I need to replace the batteries every summer so the range is the longest. As long as it will work from the window in my house (about 30-40 feet away from the car), I should be good !
