Default Help!!! LS460 or LS460L?

I have a 2007 GS350 & IS250 also an 2004 GX470. I'm thinking bout getting an 07-10 LS. But I wanna know actually what's the size difference and which model would be a great fit to my collection. I have an offer currently to get an LS460L but I'm hearing the L is really big. We don't have a lexus dealer where I live do it's not like I can walk in and see one. I will have to import it to me. Do anyone have any pics of a GS350 next to an LS460 or Ls460L.. Your input is greAtly appreciated in me deciding..

I'd look up the information (dimensions, features, etc) on the Lexus website. There's quite a lot of misinformation on internet forums (eg 1st link above, the LWB is not 10" longer than the SWB - it's only 5" longer).

Indeed, it's only about 5" longer, and it's not "really big". An old Lincoln Town Car or Cadillac Fleetwood is "really big".

It's a large, very comfortable sedan, and I would say the L is definitely worthwhile if you care about rear legroom. The car is remarkably spacious. Also, if you care to have air suspension, you can't get it on the SWB (at least for the first couple/few model years of the 460).

Definitely the "L"!

i just sat in the back from Cleveland to Columbus, and had ample legroom to recline my chair and stretch out my 6' 3" frame!

Ah, so that's what all those buttons in the rear seat console are for...... remote driving controls!

and yes all those buttons allowed me to move the seat in front of me forward and recline into the trunk region. LOL

I had the same dilemma about 2 years ago. I opted for the L to get the 5 extra inches. I have 3 children and wanted the largest car I could get to make sure they have plenty of leg room. I have taken co-workers on road trips and they are amazed at the leg room. One of them is an ex-football player at 6'-5", 225 lbs. I've ridden in the back a couple of times. It's like riding in a limo. As a driver, it doesn't fell huge. I test drove a SWB and don't recall it feeling any different then the LWB I ended up buying. My to opinion is that if you can afford the extra money for the LWB, get it. After all, bigger is better...at least that's what she said...

When I bought my SWB I didn't even think about getting the LWB. I was more concerned with interior and exterior color before length. That said, I would have preferred the LWB if I could have found it how I wanted it. Bad enough I drove 3 hours each way to pick up this one.

I've got a LWB (three hour drive time to pick it up as well)!

The deciding factor for me was influenced by having a w140 Mercedes which is LWB and missing that from my LS430. Also, the little bits like the double glazed and laminated glass were key for me.
