Default Very extremely stupid question

How in heavens name do you adjust the clock in an 2008 ls460 swb. It doesn't have any physical buttons like other models(not that I have noticed at least) and the time just changed and I wanna know how to change it to the correct time. Thank you guys.

Mine is an 07 ls 460 swb, and I just press the info button on the nav, and on the top right of the information screen you will see; ADJUST CLOCK. Hopefully that helps.

I thought the clock was set automatically like a cell phone. Not sure. I live in AZ where we do not observe day light savings. Pretty lucky

The clock is adjusted automatically by the GPS signal, if your car is equipped wit h a GPS navigation system, and you have selected the automatic adjustment. You have to enter your time zone manually and you have to set the Daylight Savings Time option correctly - DST is currently not in effect.

Last weekend most of us changed from Daylight Savings Time to regular time. Unlike clocks that are automatically adjusted for this twice yearly event, such as cellphone-synchronized clocks and WWV synchronized clocks (aka Atomic clocks), the GPS synchronized clocks don't get this correction automatically. As a car owner, you need to appropriately enable or disable the DST twice yearly.

I think that the "Atomic Clocks" don't get a corrected time signal but make their adjustments on dates and conventions and Lexus could do that too in their design if they chose to. The cellphones however, get their corrections from the cell sites and are pretty much automatic.

Default Clock

Just go to menu, click on clock. Setting will come up. For this time of year push button that states DST on and it will show off. Click save and you clock automatically adjust to the correct time.

I remember when got my car out of the port here in Riyadh, it took the car a few minutes to adjust the clock to the local time. Also when the battery died, I replaced it with a new one and the clock was messed up when I started the car then it got adjusted a few minutes later.

Mine is set to automatic.

Default Clocks

I have two atomic clocks and they do correct the time whenever it is necessary. I can take the batteries out of the clocks for some period of time and after reinstalling the batteries the clock will be incorrect. Approximately six to eight minutes after I hit the seek signal button they will correct themselves.
