Unhappy Clicking noise while turning

My 2007 LS 460 has developed a clicking noise while making a turn.
I tightened the lug nuts but that didn't help; does anyone have any suggestions?

I had the same thing with my GS350 and it turned out that there was a small rock stuck between the caliper and the wheel. It drove me insane for at least 2 weeks

posted same issue. Took it to a mechanic yesterday and he says the it may be the clips on the brake calipers. It looks like the clips on it are loose enough to where it clicks..but does not make sense that it would click like that on slow turns. I'm thinking it's more of a rack and pinion type deal because of the type of clicks it makes. Now it seems it's more like a grinding click, like it's being forced.

Anyway, whatever you find out about it let us know. Thanks.

I had the same problem with my 08 LS. I dropped the car off at the dealers a few weeks ago. First the dealer thought it has something to do with the brake/front wheels. But then they called me back about 3 hours later to tell me that they have to order me a new steering wheel bearing. When I get home tonight i will send you a copy of the work order so that you can see the parts number.

Pkhuu78,
Thanks for the reply. The steering wheel bearing seems very plausible at this point; I'll await your work order copy and take it along with the other threads to the dealer in an attempt to reduce the exploration time.

My '07 is beyond the warranty.

PKHUU78,
I almost forgot.
Did the steering wheel bearing solve the problem?

I am so sorry my man. I got busy last night and forgot about the work order. Yes, the clicking was gone after they replaced the steering wheel bearing. I will remember to post up the work order tonight.
