Default Trunk Opener

I have a very strange situation about the trunk opener:

1. The trunk would not open with remote or push the panel button. I can use the small key to manually open the trunk, nothing stuck.

2. Disconnected and reconnected battery. The remote key and panel button both worked. Locked the door, then both did not work.

3. Pulled and examined the fuse, put it back. Both worked. Locked the door, both did NOT work.

The button to close the truck is always working.

Any idea before I take it to dealer?

Thank you.

There is a button inside the glove box, in the upper left corner, labeled "Trunk Opener Cancel" that must be enabled. This feature lets you secure your trunk for valet parking by locking the glove box with the mechanical key and then taking the mechanical key with you and leaving the electronic key with the valet parker. The switch is a push toggle type that alternately stays in and comes out when you press it. You want it to be in the "in" position for the trunk opener to be enabled.

Jim - Yes, your are right. The button probably was pushed accidentally. Thank you so much for a quick reply.
