Interestingly, in the August 2011 issue of Hot Rod magazine, page 78 has an illustrated piece on splicing together Chevelle aftermarket grills to get a single debadged result.

They got the two donor grills from C.A.R.S. Inc and pretty much like Shibumi1 did only they TIG welded it together.

havent seen the article yet...but its a lil different bcuz the center of the LS grille curves in three diff directions...an thins towards the center... they need to be made from scratch.. not to mention the grille is plastic.. i have used donor grilles on fords an chevys but they are pretty much flat towards the center...

similiar to making a badgeless infiniti fx grill just got to get two grills, but would definitely be better not to go that route..
