I have always preferred the stealth look in terms of grilles and like it emblem less. This is just a mesh grille I painted gloss black and my grille surround was already wrapped in black vinyl. The great thing is I can pop the stock grille back in whenever I get tired of this look.

I've got one of those badgeless grilles sitting in my garage to install, along with a NEW lower grille portion as well. Looks nice and clean!

its an eBay mesh grille for the 2is it came in a gunmetal color so I decided to paint it gloss black to match more with my surround.

 

I always thought plain mesh grilles look way better.. Good work!
