Really looks good...stealthy even. I'd like to remove the "L" on the trunk lid too, but the recess under it is a bit daunting. If the trunk lid ever needed repainting I'd remove it and fill the recess. Maybe just use the touch-up paint to paint the "L" the same color as the car until then. I could live with leaving the more understated "LEXUS" and "LS460" on the corners.

I, too, think the "L" on the grill is a bit pretentious (might as well use a friggin' $ sign;-) and why should we advertise "Lexus" for them without being compensated?

The rest of the grille is goin to get paint later...when i get the body kit in...but that L really bothered me..(since no one makes an emblemless grille, i made my own).no emblems is kinda my trade mark (less is more mentality) chrome trim over license plate will get paint also....(all in due time) but for now it still has a semi-factory feel... service dept never noticed it was missing... (oh! WHITE nike lights had em takin pics though)

Nice work, but I think it makes the car look more plain.

Thank sooo very much.. thats the best compliment i've gotten yet!!!

What does Shibumi mean?
Shibumi is a Japanese word that means 'effortless perfection'. Anything that is Shibumi is quiet in refinement, noble and fulfilling in a manner that is not shaped exclusively by analytical thought. In Japanese culture, Shibumi implies 'a simplicity of spirit; an attitude of refinement without pretension, honesty without apology, beauty without artifice. Western mystics try to attain or achieve a state of inner peace, but shibumi must be found, not won.' Shibumi is understanding rather than knowledge, it is harmony in action. In art, it is understated beauty, articulate brevity. In philosophy, it is spiritual tranquility that is not passive; it is being without the angst of becoming.

meh i dont like it much myself to be honest...it looks to plain and it reminds me of like a commercial car where they get rid of the logo...BUT i guess its the thought that counts

this was a popular mod to do with my old G35

for me in th future if im going to do anything with the grill, im going to just paint the whole thing black to match my car...i mean thats the only thing that i would do since i havnt seen anything after market for this car that looks really good...
