Congrats. Makes sense that this would be possible, since there is $4k of dealer cash available in Sep. Dealer still makes the holdback on the car.

Well I received several 2K off verbal offers - so I was pretty sure that when I went in to pull the trigger the deal would get even better. I saw the 4K on Edmunds as well - so at this point the deal to beat is 4K off Invoice?

Seankamal - How did you verify Invoice?

Also the 69,205 - what Options if any come on this Car - I think I will go for the ML package so 71 appears to be the lowest MSRP.

Invoice on an "L" is 64250 In addition the dealer makes 3% more, so the bottom line is 62322...obviously options will add more to the price

gator - I heard the same thing from a GM - he said they had a bit more to play with on the L's - he told me 3 to 5 percent.

my car is LS460 SWB with Navi option. not Mark Levinson. mrsp is 69205 . any dealer whos legit will show you there invoice. they are making plenty of money even at 4000 below invoice. there is a 2 % holdback that every dealership makes and if u talk to them about that they will throw you out of the dealership i think..lol. my dealer is Lexus of Kendall . sales person is Rick abrams. its 100% doable . they need to move these 08 to make room for 09. they dont sell as fast as they should. no dealers wants to be stuck with it in there lot.

Which dealership in CA? I will send them an e-mail as I am in the market for another IS350. For such good deals it is worth flying up and drive the car back to Houston.

is350 deal is going to be very different from the LS

but yea, CA has some great pricing, I saved 7k on my GS from buying in CA instead of AZ

start with Longo or Glendale

So I was quoted $750 over on a LS460 $75 car, I thought I would put the screws to them and try for invoice or even $250 over. Looks like I was being conservative. So if I am understanding this thread correctly, $4k under is a FL deal but it is possible to get under invoice in CA?
