Rses?

Hey guys quick question, does rear seat entertainment system only come in the LS if you get the executive option (seating for 4)??? TIA

Yes, for the LS460 & LS460L for 2007 model year ( not sure for 2008 though).

However, I think you can get the RSES (rear seat entertainment system) seperately without the 4-seat Executive Package option for the 2008 LS600hL : CLICK HERE

I was told that you can get the RSES without the executive seating on the 2008 LS600hL also (and ordered it that way, so it better be true.)

yup on the options sheet it's written that you can get it separately

i guess the trend is it will become option as itself on the ls460 later too

Wish they had this for the LS460L, I did not even now this existed.

I knew this option existed, but was told I could not get it and that it's only available with Exec package. Well, I have 3 kids that I take to school everyday and therefore, exec package would not work for me but RSES would have been a a great addition to an already great car. I thought about putting the TV in the headrests, but I saw it done in the LS and it looked kind of cheesy. It ruins the whole look of the interior. Oh well, maybe in 2009 when my lease is up, Lexus will rethink their options package and I'll be able to get it again.
