Please advice: Battery kill switch on ls 600h L
Hello all
Please advise if I should install a battery kill switch on my 2013 Lexus Ls 600h L to prevent theft, and to prevent battery drain, I only drive the car 1 time a week for 5 miles? Any helps and advices are greatly appreciated

As others advised, use a battery tender to keep the battery charged. Modern cars do not like to have the power shut off on them regularly, you lose driver programmed settings, learned throttle and transmission mapping etc.. The battery shut off also means your alarm is inactivated and no lights or anything else works. If you want anti theft, put a shut-off switch on the fuel injector power feed or the power feed to the fuel pump. No gas, no start, but everything else works, and the crooks have a hard time figuring out why it cranks but doesn't fire.
