I'd like to know also, and mine doesn't need to be OEM.
I ended up buy a fake leather skin from Amazon. Not the best and you'd have to really heat and stretch the material and staple it as the previous OEM skin was done. Is it worth the 20 buck NO I'd rather find a junk yard find or EBay part out from somewhere it doesn't match the OEM leather of the interior at all
You might check the auto recyclers that take in wrecked cars and sell parts off them. There are several in Rancho Cordova CA for example. They might have a good used one. I would also be tempted to talk to an expert about repairing the one on post 1.

I'd love to find a online junk yard that has an updated inventory day to day, or a person on a golf cart fetching pictures and parts for buyers virtually on a app zoom or FaceTime pictures ain't enough in these times I need video confirmation
Since that is where you rest your arm, that is from your sweat damaging the leather.
Your sweat leaches the oils out of the leather so it dries and cracks. That is not wear, just neglect :-)
Clean the leather regularly with a leather cleaner and conditioner and it won't dry out and crack/split like that.
Of course, that won't help once the leather has split. :-(

Needless to say it was already like that when I bought it, I used to detail cars and you are absolutely correct about this seems like the faux leather is doing much better but again it's fake and doesn't absorb any interior products applied to it. There are a few rips that have NOW started in the seats and on the arm rest of the drivers door from maybe the previous drivers leg rubbing it when driving
May also be worth seeing if you can find a local artisan leather specialist.
Some of them can match your interior colour so well that you can't tell the difference.
