Navigation Disappeared

2001 LS past two weeks the Navigation and Map functions have literally vanished. Screen still works with Audio and Climate. But the rest is black.

Pull battery terminal overnight and unplugged the dvd reader box in the trunk and plugged back in to same result.

Any ideas? Been searching unsucessfully.

Here is a laundry list of potential symptoms on the navigation system. Let me know which one(s) closely resembles your issue and I will find the troubleshooting pages for you.

ya it is I would just like it to operate in case of an emergency or phone dies/ need gps

I know this is an unproductive post but your post made me LOL. So true---the nav in our LS's is JUNK, although it's better to have junk that works over broken junk, LOL.
