My Tein CS finally gave up on me. I’ve been looking at replacing them. I have been thinking of going back to stock but I can’t source stock replacements locally. Shipping to the middle of the Pacific Ocean isn’t cheap so most online retailers are not always a good option. I have 2 ideas:
1. buy cheap spring and shock combo on amazon or eBay and swap out the shock for a “ better” one. My thinking on this is that the shock is probably crap on this type of replacements.
2. buy coilovers and swap the tein CS springs to keep the comfy ride. My understanding is the low spring rate of the CS gives it the comfy ride. I would just raise it up as much as possible. I have about 40,000 miles on the CS and I’m guessing the springs are still good.
