Question Is the sunroof adjustable?

recently had the roof replaced due to damage, and the sunroof gets held up in the back and doesn't sit flush with the roof line. body shop tried fixing it again but couldn't really make it any better. is there any adjustability for the glass? (forward/backward, up/down)

There should be torx screws on the hinges.

You should be able to tilt the sunroof all the way back to access the adjustments.

You need to pull off the trim pieces beneath the glass.

So, I'm having issues getting these torx bolts loose. I am f***ing cranking on them as hard as I can and I can't get them to budge. I feel like I'm gonna break the torx tip or strip out the screws at this point. Are we sure these are the adjustment points??

Spray them with some PB blaster or WD 40 and go buy a torx socket. You can get better leverage with a ratchet and extension. Take your time so you don't strip the screws and make sure you apply pressure into the screw.

I used a torx bit, but I was using it on a screwdriver adaptor. I'll give the ratchet a shot, and I have some compound used for gripping stripped screws that should give me some extra security. Wish me luck. When (if) I get it adjusted I'll edit this post for a tutorial. Seems like it will be the only info around for this vehicle lol.

🤬 No luck. Let them soak with penetrant overnight and tried a ratchet with alot of pressure. Immediately stripped them out. Now what?!

Now comes the slow painful lol process of using vice grips, drilling or a small enough bolt out socket used to get sripped bolts or screws out. It's going to be frustrating but you have to just keep spraying lubricant and trying to get it to turn. I suggest the vice grip method first. While your at it order all new bolts for when it does come off. You can also try to bang a bigger torx socket into the holy and take your time.
