Default Timing belt

I purchase my 430 about a year ago previous owner didn't remember if he had done the timing belt so i decide to open the right cam cover and se how is the belt , for my surprise i found a Gates belt , decent shape probably no more that 10k on it from the quality and paint marking . Anybody had this belt on their car and how they lasted ?

I didn't know they made timing belts either until I started purchasing items on eBay and Rockauto.

I used a Gates kit on my last TB job because it came with Koyo bearings. I'm comfortable, and confident, using the Gates belt and the bearings are a nice perk...

used gates on my wife sequioa with no issues whatsover. Just got my Aisin TB/WP kit for the Lexus 430 a couple days ago from Rock Auto. Ordered the Bando belt as well, just because i might as well change that too. Can't go wrong with either brand

My favorite of all was my black LS, but I had to sell it when we went to just one car, my wifes was the best, just not the prettiest..
