Hi guys, I just picked up a 98 GS4 with 60k miles. I'm wondering when i'm supposed to change the timing belt on this baby. Any info would be appreciated.
Plenty of posts on this. Do a search. If your drive belt looks kind of old you can et your timing belt does too. If your drive belt is new then you might want to pop the engine cover for the timing belt and take a look. 60k is real low to change the timing belt unless you live in horrible terrain or beat the car up.
The worst case is the belt is brittle and when you stomp on the gas you strip the teeth off the belt at the crank and experience some nasty slippage of the belt. Bad.
For a guy that's always Online here at Clublexus, your awfully hard to get a hold of. I private messaged you about your post for the Unichip and Weapon R's new version. Please check your PM and reply at your convince.
