Ah that make sense! I am more in-tune with the car, but my wife will be the primary driver. She is not going to notice the difference, but it will bother me if I notice it. I have not driven the car much to notice anything tbh, but we have a vacation coming up, and there will be plenty of driving for me. If I notice it, I will definitely have this done.
EDIT: this reminds me that there is a modification in the SC430, where you drop the trans pan, and turn a "switch" to make the transmission more responsive. Too bad we do not have something similar here.

Whaaa?? That's a new one... never heard of that before. I thought the SC430s had the same trans as us....
Hmmm. I'm going to have to look into this further. The initial post was in reference to the A650E 5-speed auto that's also in the 01-03 LS models, but someone mentioned further down in the thread that this also works in the A761E which is found in the 04-06 LS models and 06-10 SC models.

If you have not seen it, here is another thread that touch on this subject. I did not know this may apply to the 6 speed in LS. I am definitely interested if it can be done. I did my SC430 with the car on jack stand. Not a lot of fun working on my back, but overall pretty easy to do, and worth the hassle.
