Default Cat replacement options

So like I said before, i have p0420 and p0430 codes. Tomorrow I'm going to put non fouler in to see if it will help. I have looked everywhere and there are no leaks, so this is a temporary work around before I decide what to do with the cats.

here's the thing, I feel like I should replace the cats with something to make the V8 sound better, but I don't know with what.

I don't want this car to be loud, the reason I bought it is because it is just so quiet, so what are my options, if any?

Have you considered an exhaust cut-out? that way you have the quiet ride when you want it but you can switch to open-exhaust when you want the sound.

I haven't researched a cut out, so I'm unsure what you mean buy a cut out.

also, as an update, I just pulled the o2 sensors and did the fouler spacers, cleared CEL and VSC and no more lights came back, so in the meantime things are good.

Something like this. It's welded in before the mufflers. When you flip a switch the valve opens and allows a by-pass or short-cut around the mufflers.

You'd need two since the car has dual exhaust.
