I'll be refreshing the front suspension on my '03 LS430 and curious if there was a forum member who has the OEM part # for the front strut 'bump stops'?

Every diagram I've researched shows no mention of the item...and mine appear to be disintegrating.

Perhaps it comes with the strut assembly? Is it separate on our cars... from the same page 48680-50110 looks like it has it integrated into the strut bearing assembly.

Thanks for the additional eyes on this! The part number you referenced appears to be for strut mounts/strut boots and not 'bump stops' - I'll give your recommendation a shot and connect with the folks over at Bell Lexus

 

Please update the post with your findings to help other users in the future. I'm going to be replacing my rear shocks (driver's side is leaking) soon and will be going through a similar part search to replace any worn components with OEM parts.

 

Interesting they are not shown in 430 parts diagrams...
I'm familiar with the part as I've rebuilt the front suspension in my LS400. I haven't needed to work on my 430s front suspension yet.

You can buy an aftermarket strut bellow from Sachs, Moog, KYB etc as they all include a bumper. The bellow is cheap but the bumpers are pretty close in density to oem.

Part # 48341-50070 is what I have written down as the strut bumper aka bump stop. Search the threads for that part number, I found it on one of the many threads here regarding switching out air suspension to non-air.

 

Thanks, StanVanDam! I have Toyota OEM part #48341-50070 for the rear; however after a bit of filtering through the various threads, part #48680-50110 populated!. This OEM part # appears to have the bump stops + the rubber insulator (ref. post #26 in thread - https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls-...n-infos-2.html)

After calling around, if you want a new front OEM bump stop for the '01 - '06 LS430, you will need to purchase part # 48680-50110 or cross reference other Toyota OEM part #'s and confirm they work with your application.
