Default Bosch platinum fusion spark plugs.

Hello all,
I happen to have 8 of the spark plugs that are listed below. After doing some searching on the forums some people love these and some hate them. Most people seem to say Bosch is crap in a less friendly way.
My father gave me these for Christmas so if I have to get new ones it wont bother me much. But i'd like to know if anyone has any experience with these plugs in a their 430?

Any opinions would be great!
Thanks,

I would not second guess and say go toyota oem (denso) , I've seen lots of smooth running high mileage LS' with toyota plugs.

"That is true. Denso and NGK are OEMs for our cars. But fact, Denso is listed #1 choice for OEM and NGK is #2. According to ALLDATA.

From what I heard, Toyota = Denso for OEM and Honda = NGK for OEM. " from this thread https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...k-iridium.html ~~

but it really is crucial to run oe stuff on these cars, they are very well built to begin with and will take a beating, just my .02 cents

If I had to buy new then I would stick with the forum favorite but if I had them already in my hand then I would definitely use them. Do what is in your comfort zone.

Bingo! If you already have them, throw 'em in and see what happens. I'm a huge fan of OEM parts, but in this case, I'd run them since you already have them.

I have heard that it may not run as well with bosch plugs, I have ngk iridium plugs I installed when I did my t belt, water pump, tensioners. They have 14,000 miles on them and no ill effects with thw ngk's.

Something to keep in mind is that some brands do not mix well, such as dodge/chrysler vehicles and ngk plugs if you put ngk's in a dodge it will run like crap and freak out, limp mode etc.

I used them in my old 2.5L Duratec V6 (also wish I'd kept them when the motor got junked) and I had no complaints with them. I had no performance gain from them, but no loss either. The way I've found it, use Champion plugs on old things, lawn mowers and Yank Tanks (and that is it! Champion plugs suck *** in everything else), NGKs in everything Japanese (and then some), and Bosch plugs in your Euro built things. But you can overlap NGK and Bosch if you need to. If you're boosted, don't use platinum plugs or you'll melt the electrodes, just stick with standard plugs and swap them out more often. The platinum plugs are really only for longevity, especially in the case of FWD V6 engines where it can be a nightmare to get to the rear bank of plugs. But they emit the same amount of spark as a standard spark plug until they start wearing out.

To add: OEM plugs are equally as good as aftermarket plugs. The technology has been around for well over 100 years, so Denso and NGK are as good as each other

I think most brand name plugs would work but for best combined longevity and performance I'd use a plug with an iridium electrode. I think either NGK and Denso iridium plugs are spec'd for LS430.
