Has nothing to do with driving habits or gas tank level .What did I ever do to you to talk to me like that?

You cant imagine how many times I almost got rear ended.
From this quick description it sounds like when you make the turn and the weight shifting your inside tire is breaking loose and more than likely enabling the traction system removing power to the wheels for that quick second. I have done this myself if I turn from a stop and try to quickly merge in and it feels like the car loses all power briefly (traction system kicking in). Just my opinion.

Sorry I didn't understand that. From a dead stop, trying to quickly merge into fast traffic (even w/ an LS) doesn't sound like much fun.
Hope you can find a solution.

What's the latest update with the 'hesitation' phenomenon?

I've had the same issue on my 02 and i can tell you it is not reassurring. I could not accellerate from a deadstop while turning onto the road. I upgraded the rear sway and end links and that helped. Most likely just the sway bar helped. I think it really was vsc related.

Hey Lexman, I have an 02 UL that will do what you describe at 1 particular light I stop at to make a right. The first few times it puzzled me as I realized it may be traction control kicking in, but since I didn't get any indicators or dash lights to turn on I couldn't confirm. Now I just take my time when turning at this corner from a stop or I turn of VSC which prevents it from recurring. But yeah it definitely puts a bit of caution in me when considering making a right turn in heavy to moderate traffic.
