Bad engine mount, mortor mount video
Hi All, my car has 155k with the original engine mount and trans mount. Going to replaced it to this weekend.
Here's a video of my car for those wanting to see or how they can tell if the mount is bad.
When starting the car, I can feel the whole car shift left and right. If the AC is off, rpm is around 400-500rpm, if AC is on,can't feel the shaking.
Already replaced the lower ball joint, bushing to lca, Tein lowering springs, new sports suspension.

I was wincing with all those repeated revs in attempts to make the engine move. I think a better way to check the motor mounts would be to apply the brakes and then give a short/quick pump of gas pedal. If she moves/shifts (like yours did), then probably a bad mount or 2.
Off topic---but the engine doesn't sound too "healthy" on the video. Maybe it's simply the video/audio quality, but to me sounds like an exhaust leak or valve tick or something? At :47 I felt ill! Sorry to comment critical things, but also surprised others haven't mentioned anything on how it sounds?
Are you/did you replace them yourself or have someone do it? I would like to do this 'just to do it' since my LS has about 150k on the ticker.
