Engine mount still good or bad?
looks normal to me. actually inspect the mounts to see any cracks or concerns.
the transmission mount tends to go around 100k miles, which is felt by vibrations during high speed driving.

In my experience, the tranny mount makes the most difference when you have vibration. I've replaced about 3 of them now on 3 different cars. 150k, 140k and 200k and figure it was the original parts on each. They were all broken in two and pretty useless. Made a huge difference when I replaced the mounts. And the nice thing is they are easier to replace than the engine mounts. couple ramps and a good 1/2 inch socket set and you're good to go.
I've only used OEM Lexus tranny mounts, by the way.

I have replaced engine and tranny mounts in my Lexus' family and my engine had much more movement than yours, so I agree yours is ok and also your tranny mount..
mine looked like this:

I remember when I changed my tranny mount on my 96, the old mount was not broken, but compressed a good 1/2 inch compared to the new one. It made a small difference, but I never managed to changed the motor mount.
My 99 feel a ton smoother so Ill leave it as is for now.
Thanks
