They had a website to track your car from production in Germany, to delivery in the USA. I was worried that my car showed as black sapphire, when I ordered space gray, and the sport package was missing. The salesperson told me the website is garbage, here, let me print out your order from my computer. I didn't really trust and never really trust sales....so I called the 800#. The person said yeah the website is pretty inaccurate, don't go by that. It's only a front end and it's usually wrong.

On Lexus drivers, some say they've never had problems. This is because they don't look at it as closely as the people who have problems. I'm just trying to say, if you show that your car has no service records, don't worry. I've seen that message many times, they haven't been erased, they're just indicative of a problematic design. And I would always keep some other sort of backup to the records, don't rely on the website.
My service records are amazingly accurate and complete, all 25 pages and 100 service entries since new. Just downloaded a pdf for my records, which I do about every year.

Not a bad idea, again, for your personal knowledge. A potential buyer should understand any non Lexus/Toyota services can be added by the user of the website, whereas, they cannot do that on a carfax.

All I am saying is if you go to Citi's website every day, or even twice a day, or what have you, you'll find the site down at some point. If you go once a month to pay your bill, you may likely never see it down. One that kills me is the largest credit union in the country. imho their site is down too often. And, there are some parts of the UI that don't make sense. Again, if you're amazon, you're gonna have things running perfectly. Your customers are paying for it, and downtime is money.

True, but I can back up all my entries with actual receipts for the service/work and prove individual entries made by me. i can use my records for insurance putpodrd or potential buyers if I ever decide to get rid of the car.

Yes. The service log will allow you to name the server. I generally use "self" but you can enter your name if you wish. I enter "Costco" for my tire and battery purchases. I have never used any shop other than my local Lexus dealer for all service and repairs. All of their entries are made by the Dealer and are quite comprehensive. Easy to enter your maintenance or accessories that you might add to the car.

Anyone else had any problem accessing their Lexus drivers account?

I opened a case on same thing last week and was told they would call mw within 24 hours. They did not, but I did to their credit receive an email: (my issue was login brings me to error page / invalid URL / error 500 when I log in on web to owners portal):

telematics case #21040700.....
Dear Mr. ....:

If you guys don't already know they are phasing out the website and pushing everyone over to the new Lexus app for your phone. They are discontinuing the Lexus drivers app for the new app. Some ppl can still access their account on the website but eventually they will have to download the Lexus app on their phone. We have the same thread going in the 460 forum.

Personally I would much rather use the website but it looks like that option is going away. Some of the reps don't even know yet so they are offering some misinformation. If you have the Lexus drivers app on your phone already try to log in and it will direct you to download the new app. Your old credentials will still work but you might have to add your vehicles again. I know I had to do this but some ppl say that their vehicles were already added. YMMV.

I down loaded the new/replacement iPhone/iPad app and even though my credentials were valid from the website, I had to manually add my 3 cars into the “My garage”. So far so good. Then on Monday I get notified by email that “some one” removed my ‘92 SC from the garage and if I didn’t do it then call the Support number listed in the email. No go; due to large call volume message said try later. I manually added the SC back in and haven’t checked back.

Very disappointing that Lexus is heading this way and the new app seems to banterto new services over customer service. Oh well....

I did indeed succeed in getting into the web page today, as the email from Lexus claimed (saying to try on April 16). I'm once again able to see my service history. I was a bit skeptical, but I sppreciate that Lexus provided accurate information.
