Default What is NMPI service ?

Just got a 2013 certified car. Went to the Lexus site, created an account, entered VIN, and pulled up the service history.

Something called "NMPI" shows up on two different dates.

Anyone know what that stands for?

I think MPI is multi-point inspection...NMPI may mean no multi point inspection. They may note in the service record if the did not perform the inspection.

You should contact the dealership...Their maintenance records could be more complete than what is on the Lexus Drivers site. Although all maintenance done at Lexus should appear there, it is possible that it does not, or that something like an oil change is included in another code.

If your car is a CPO, it has to meet certain standards determined by Lexus (in addition to the dealership paying a fee to get the car in the CPO program, which gets passed on to the buyer in the price of the car), so I would not be too concerned if you do not see an oil change listed. If it is really bothering you, have the oil changed now - Worth it to me for the peace of mind.

Also, if the previous owner did their own oil changes, or took it somewhere besides a Lexus dealership, that would not show in your maintenance history.
