Default 2003 LS430 Driver Seat Frame Broken

The metal frame is broken at the bolt connection at the front of the driver seat. The rear is fine, all mechanicals (power seat adjust, heat/cool fan) work great. Ant thoughts on fixing this issue? Remove the seat and have it welded?

I found a "seat tray", the lower seat assembly, on Ebay. Would an upholstery shop be able to replace this?

Thanks!

Are you talking about one of these "bolt connections"?

No, the bolt connections on the seat tray itself. I'll post pics shortly.

Here's a picture of the broken frame on the left side. Sorry I can't rotate the image.

Wow. Never have seen that... Yeah, theoretically, you should be able to pull the seat, clean the rust off those parts and have someone do a good job of welding it back together.

How difficult is it to remove the seat?

pulling the seat isnt too bad.its a two person job after you remove 4 bolts and two electrical plugs.
remove the seat out the drivers rear door.
the most important step is,before you disconnect the power to the seat you need to line up the seat tray bolt holes.
to do this remove the seatbelt cover that is attached to the seat bottom and remove the seatbelt bolt.you will see a inspection hole.next power the seat forward or aft until you see a bolt aline with the inspection hole.after you do that you disconnect the power and remove the seat.
